In this week's video, I use an Ironworks Models Layout Base Kit to start on a new On30 Project layout. This will be a vertically dramatic mining layout that I hope to have about three feet tall, despite having a base that is only 21.5"x25" in size.

I currently expect this to be a three or four part series that I'll be working on as a wrap up the last detail work on the 2x4 N scale layout and start on my 3-rail O scale switching layout.
