In the video below, see how I added some roadway areas and structure bases that have various metal brackets and washers embedded within them. By adding some magnets to the structures themselves, I can easily attach, remove, and rearrange the structures. This way, I can swap structures on and off the layout along with the rolling stock, which will allow for greater variation in operating sessions with this layout.
