I have most of the benchwork done on the 2x4 foot N scale layout, and have moved onto laying track and installing the initial wiring. I'll have a full video on how I built the benchwork coming up in a couple of weeks, but you can watch a preview video below that shows the features of the layout benchwork.
The notable features are that the top level will be removable to allow access to the hidden portions of the middle level and the entire middle level lifts upwards on a hinge to allow for access to the entire interior as well as the electronics and a storage space for rolling stock and other items.
